As part of the induction programme “Aarambh 2024,” Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC), Jalandhar recently organised a Havan ceremony for the incoming first-year students of MBA, MCA, B.Tech, BBA, BCA, and B.Com (H).

This event marked the commencement of the new academic session and embodied the institute’s harmonious blend of tradition and modernity.

At AIMETC, where tradition and modernity are seamlessly integrated, the Havan ceremony is an annual tradition conducted at the beginning of each academic year. This sacred ritual is an integral part of the institute’s culture, symbolising the institution’s commitment to spiritual and academic growth.

The event saw the presence of the director, deans, faculty members, and students, who gathered to seek divine blessings for a prosperous and successful academic journey. The Havan ceremony, with its sacred chants and rituals, created an atmosphere of serenity and piety, setting a positive tone for the academic year ahead. The participation of the entire Apeejay family in the ceremony highlighted the institute’s emphasis on unity and collective well-being.

The ceremony concluded with the distribution of Prashad, which not only signified the conclusion of the ritual but also embodied the spirit of unity and harmony among the Apeejay community. The distribution of prasad served as a symbol of shared blessings and the collective aspiration for a fruitful academic year.

The Havan ceremony at Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus is more than just a ritual; it is a tradition that fosters a sense of belonging and spiritual well-being among the students and faculty. By upholding such traditions, the institute ensures that its students are not only academically prepared but also spiritually nurtured, creating a holistic environment for growth and learning.

As the new academic session begins, the blessings sought during the Havan ceremony are expected to guide and inspire the students in their pursuit of knowledge and excellence. The ceremony underscores the institute’s commitment to providing an environment where traditional values and modern education go hand in hand, preparing students to excel in their academic and professional lives.

In conclusion, the Havan ceremony at Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus is a testament to the institute’s dedication to maintaining a balance between tradition and modernity. It serves as a reminder that education is not just about academic achievements but also about spiritual and moral development, ensuring a well-rounded and enriching experience for all students.
