‘Investiture Ceremony 2024: This school ushers a new era of leadership

Investiture ceremonies in schools are vital as they instil a sense of responsibility, leadership, and accountability among students. These ceremonies mark the official entrustment of roles and duties to student leaders, fostering a spirit of teamwork and dedication.

By recognising and honouring these roles, schools encourage students to develop confidence, decision-making skills, and a commitment to serve their peers and community. Such events inspire a culture of excellence and discipline, shaping students into future leaders with integrity and purpose.

To instil similar interests, Apeejay School, Noida recently organised an investiture ceremony for the primary, middle, and senior school students. The ceremony, held in the school auditorium, marked the formal appointment of the members of the prefectorial board, who were selected through a rigorous process of nominations and interviews.

A harmonious orchestra performance followed, captivating the audience and adding to the celebratory atmosphere. The ceremony was graced by the presence of proud parents, who joined in the celebration of their children’s achievements, making the occasion even more memorable.

Ms Ritu Kohli, Principal of the school, along with Ms Amrita Hajela, the Vice-principal and the parents, bestowed badges upon the newly appointed members of the prefectorial board, including office bearers of the school council and discipline prefects.

The Principal then administered the Oath of Office, with the new members solemnly pledging to preserve, protect, and defend the school’s rules and regulations while upholding its dignity and honour.
