Inter-house language quiz enthralls young minds at this school

A vibrant celebration of linguistic flair and teamwork was celebrated at Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri

Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri, hosted an exciting Inter-house Language Quiz Competition for Primary classes, celebrating the richness of language and the joy of learning. The event aimed to strengthen students’ linguistic abilities in both Hindi and English, while also promoting healthy competition and team spirit among young learners.

The quiz witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of Classes III and IV, who represented all four houses with great zeal. The competition was thoughtfully designed with multiple engaging rounds, including Rapid Fire, Audio-Visual, Spell Bee, and Grammar Check, which tested vocabulary, grammar, comprehension, and literary knowledge. A total of 56 questions, curated with care and creativity, ensured a well-rounded and stimulating experience for all participants.

The English round was efficiently organised by Ms Poonam Sharma, while Mrs Jyoti Goyal brought equal flair to the Hindi segment. Their combined efforts made the quiz both educational and entertaining, keeping the participants and the audience fully engaged throughout.

The highlight of the event was the thrilling finale, where Nanak House triumphed with an impressive display of quick thinking and language mastery. The winning team included Manil, Bhishm, and Tiara from Class III, and Mauryaditya, Lavya, and Kanishka from Class IV. Their outstanding coordination and consistent performance earned them loud applause and admiration from judges, teachers, and fellow students.

Principal of the school, Dr Vineet Vasishtha graced the occasion and commended the efforts of both the students and the teachers. He underscored the significance of language as a powerful tool for communication and personal growth and encouraged students to keep developing their linguistic skills.

“Language is a powerful medium that shapes thought and expression. I am proud of our young learners who showcased such enthusiasm and knowledge during the quiz. Congratulations to the winners and appreciation to all participants. Special thanks to the teachers for their dedicated efforts. Let’s continue to nurture the joy of learning and communication in every child,” Dr Vasishtha shared.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks, followed by the distribution of certificates to the winners. It was a day filled with learning, excitement, and celebration, leaving everyone inspired and eager for more such enriching experiences in the future.
