Inspiring journeys of Apeejay Svran Global School’s Scholar Badge Awardees

The Scholar Badge Ceremony to honour the academic achievements of its high-performing students of previous year was recently held at Apeejay Svran Global School, Sector 21-D, Faridabad recently hosted its prestigious . This annual event, held for the first time in the school, recognises and celebrates the dedication, hard work, and academic excellence of students who have excelled in academics, discipline, and extracurricular activities in previous class.

Among the top achievers from class IX (at present in class X) , five students were awarded the Scholar Badge: Aarav Dhillon, Agrini Jain, Kashvi Thamman, Shourya Rathore, and Simarpreet Kaur. Read ahead to know more about them and their journeys:

Shourya Rathore: A Diligent Student Focused on Consistency

At present, in class X, he reflects on his academic journey with great pride and humility. “When I got to know I’d be receiving the Scholar Badge, I was really happy,” says Shourya. “All the hard work I put into my exams was finally recognised.” However, it hasn’t always been easy for Shourya. His biggest challenge has been Math, a subject he finds tough but has learnt to manage. “I dedicate an hour every day to math. If I miss one day, I find myself having to repeat the process, which can be frustrating,” he shares.

Time management is a skill Shourya has mastered through consistency, focusing more on subjects that require extra attention, while also ensuring a balance in his schedule. His goal for the future is clear: “My focus is to do well in my board exams and maintain high percentages in the coming years.”

Shourya is not just academically driven; he also actively participates in sports, including cricket and hockey, in his free time. His dedication has made him an inspiration for his juniors, who look up to him as an example of hard work and perseverance.

“I feel very fortunate that my efforts inspire others,” he says. His long-term academic goal is to continue excelling in his studies and achieve success in his 10th and 12th grades, setting a benchmark for younger students to follow.

Agrini Jain: A Future Engineer with Strong Academic Foundations

Also a class X student, attributes her academic success to the supportive environment at Apeejay Svran Global School. “The school provides extra classes after hours, which really helps me clear my doubts,” she explains. Agrini’s passion lies in science, particularly in the fields of physics and chemistry, and she plans to take up non-medical streams next year with the goal of becoming an engineer. “I’m excited to explore physics and chemistry in greater depth. These subjects have always fascinated me,” she shares.

When it comes to managing her time effectively, Agrini emphasises the importance of balancing studies with limited distractions. “I used to study during my free time and reduced my phone usage,” she reveals. This approach has proven effective, allowing her to stay focused on her studies and perform well academically. Agrini’s commitment to her studies is evident in her strong academic record, and she is excited to continue her journey towards a successful career in engineering.
