Apeejay School, Tanda Road, honours a legacy and celebrates the 101st birth anniversary of Smt Rajeshwari Paul
On July 8, 2025, Apeejay School, Tanda Road, Jalandhar, marked the 101st birth anniversary of Smt Rajeshwari Paul, the revered First Lady of the Apeejay Stya Group, with a ceremony filled with reverence, inspiration, and cultural celebration. This day was a tribute to a woman whose contributions continue to shape the values and vision of Apeejay Education.
The ceremony began with a solemn floral tribute to Smt Rajeshwari Paul, paying homage to her enduring legacy. The students then performed a graceful Saraswati Vandana, a traditional dance dedicated to the goddess of wisdom and learning. This performance set a spiritual tone for the event, reflecting the deep respect and admiration the school community holds for her.

A special message from Ms Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman of Apeejay Stya & Svran Group and daughter of Smt Rajeshwari Paul, was read by Ms Simranjeet Kaur. In her message, Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia reflected on her mother’s commitment to education, the arts, and social welfare. Her words were not just a tribute but a call to continue upholding the values of Smt Rajeshwari Paul cherished.
Dr Rajesh Kumar Chandel, the school Principal, also addressed the gathering. In his speech, he shared reflections on the values that Smt Rajeshwari Paul stood for, urging the students to embody those qualities of discipline, compassion, and cultural pride.
Rajeshwari Kala Utsav: Celebrating art and culture
