Recently, Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park hosted its 23rd annual Force Fest Inter-school event dedicated to the technological skills and creative talents of students across Delhi-NCR. The two-day event saw bright young minds from 21 prominent schools gather for a series of competitive events that covered the spectrum of modern technology and innovation.

The festival has grown and evolved to be a show of student talent, with the possibility of learning about new areas in tech, as well as getting involved with like-minded peers. The student-led fest featured an impressive range of events that appealed to budding technologists and creative minds alike. Some of these are AI Studio, Sakura, Pygrammer, Inkbox, Trivial Pursuit, PC Gaming, Counterstrafe, Talk-a-thon, Battle Bot, and Shark Tank.

The event began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp that set the tone for the day. The Chief Guest Mr Himanshu Garg, CEO, Dynamics Monk Consulting, gave an inspirational speech. He talked about how the importance of AI in the world has now been increased, thereby creating ample scope for future students to study in that stream.

According to Ms Mukta Amba, PGT Computer Science the Force Fest is an Inter-school Computer event that was started in 2001 by the Force Club, a computer club of the school. The members of the club learn various skills as per the latest changes taking place in IT.

“Students are given a free hand to organise the events in which they are proficient. Students not only handle the events, they also learn to work in a team. Students are exposed to new challenges and experiences. The event facilitated healthy competition and fostered a sense of camaraderie among participants from different schools,” the educator explained.

The platform, Ms Amba said, is for the wiz kids to showcase their talent and innovations. “As it is organised by the Force Club, the members possess special skills like programming, video making, movie making, web designing, and robotics. Members of the club keep upgrading their skills and work hard to organise the events. They get good exposure to learning and handling complex situations. By organising the events, students showcase their technical skills and learn to use them in real-world situations. The competition enhanced and tested the students’ logical thinking and reasoning skills. It was indeed a great learning experience for the students,” Ms Amba said

The vote of thanks was given by the Principal, Ms Surabhi Joshi. She appreciated the efforts of the Force Club team whose organisational skills had made the event possible. She motivated the students to explore technology with curiosity and creativity.

With its legacy of 23 years, Force Fest has emerged as a guiding light for young innovators. By nurturing young minds through these dynamic events, Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, once again highlighted its commitment to fostering an educational environment that encourages exploration, innovation, and collaboration.
