If I were a physicist
In the Manhattan project,
I would decline the nuclear bomb concept.
I would disrupt the balance of
Plutonium and Uranium
And make nuclear bombs with defects
As for the people of Hiroshima-Nagasaki
It would be just perfect.
I would find ways of
Making it not for destruction,
But life’s construction
Which would further lead
To risk reduction.
From formulas vast to theorems deep,
I would test the impact of
Nuclear bombs and
Take a sneak peek.
I would prevent the cries of
Children and make this story a fiction.
I would save the lives of a billion
And become one in a million.
