Every child is different. What works for one may not work for another. When choosing a school for your child, it’s crucial to think about what aligns with their interests and preferences. Take the time to weigh the advantages and disadvantages of each option before making a decision. A well-suited school has an innate ability to provide a great learning environment which may have a lasting impact on your child’s educational journey. Apeejay School stands out as an appealing choice for parents seeking an institution where their children can thrive and develop. The school’s offerings and atmosphere make it a suitable option for nurturing the growth of young minds.

Hence, it is not surprising that Urooj Shadab, mother of Issa and Aizah Rehman, studying in nursery and class I at Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park is happy her kids are always excited to attend school daily.

Excerpts from the interview.

What made you choose this school?

Initially, I enrolled my elder daughter, Aizah, in this school. Witnessing her positive experience, I decided to enroll my younger one here as well. I am completely content with my decision to choose Apeejay School for my daughters.

How has been your daughter’s experience in this school so far?

So far, everything is going well, and is progressing on the right path. There haven’t been any issues and both my kids feel excited to attend the school daily.

Are they involved in any extracurricular activities?

Certainly, both of them actively participate in sports. Aizah is involved in both short tennis and skating, whereas Issah focuses specifically on short tennis. Recently, they went for a sports camping session as a part of their excursion trip.

How do you encourage your daughters to study at home?

I take complete care and responsibility for my daughter’s studies at home. I have got different books for them to read. Other than that, whatever is taught in the school, I help them revise them along with completion of homework.

Kids are fussy eaters. Did your daughters face the same issues at school?

Aizah didn’t have a significant issue, but Issah, being in pre-primary, tends to be a bit fussy. But the good thing to highlight here is that her class teacher takes full responsibility and keeps a check. If Issah doesn’t eat, the teacher personally feeds her ensuring that the child is well-fed.

Are you well-informed about upcoming events at school?

We receive comprehensive updates through the teachers’ and administration’s WhatsApp group. While updates are also available on the Noodle platform, I find WhatsApp more convenient for staying informed.
