Success doesn’t come overnight – it takes discipline, guidance, and a whole lot of determination. This rings true for the academic achievers from Class 9 (session 2024–2025) at Apeejay School, Saket. Now in Class 10, these students – Krishiv SharmaSatvik Tirumareddy, and Diti Bhatt – have emerged as star performers with exceptional scores and balanced approaches to academics and life. In a recent conversation, they shared their strategies, challenges, and dreams for the future.

Krishiv Sharma – Scored 93.4%

A calm, composed, and focused learner, Krishiv Sharma attributes his stellar performance to NCERT books and undivided attention during class lectures. “I make sure to stay attentive in all my sessions and complete my syllabus well before the exams to avoid stress,” he shares. His grounded nature and time-tested study methods helped him earn an impressive 93.4%.

Support from teachers and parents played a key role in his journey. “They ensured I stayed punctual and guided me in managing my academic and physical well-being. Playing football helps me unwind,” he adds. With a love for sports, Krishiv aspires to be a professional footballer. His advice to peers? “Every student should be involved in physical activities. It boosts concentration and mental wellness.”

Satvik Tirumareddy – Scored 88.4%

For Satvik, success came through structured planning and timely revisions. “I aligned my preparation with the syllabus and stuck to a consistent plan. Regular revisions helped reduce stress,” he explains. Scoring 88.4%, he believes early preparation eliminates last-minute panic.

“Teachers were extremely supportive during doubt-clearing sessions, and my parents provided emotional backing,” says Satvik, who enjoys Science and Mathematics the most. He dreams of pursuing engineering through IIT. A firm believer in discipline, he adds, “Time management is one habit every student should develop – it truly makes a difference.”

Diti Bhatt – Scored 85.6%

With a thoughtful and mature perspective, Diti Bhatt balanced all subjects with equal dedication. “Even if the weightage differed, I treated each subject with equal importance. I took guidance from my teachers both in school and outside,” she says. Her awareness of ‘good stress’ versus ‘bad stress’ helped her stay on track.

Diti reflects, “Bad stress usually stems from last-minute prep. I tackled this by starting small revisions early on.” She’s grateful to her parents and teachers for shaping her mindset and encouraging her throughout. While she hasn’t finalised her career path yet, she’s clear about focusing on her Board results first. “Responsibility is the foundation of success,” she believes. “Even small habits like managing your own tasks build character.”
