Choosing the right school is one of the most important decisions for any parent. For Mrs Indu Bhadana, mother of Aadhaya and Aaradhya, both studying in Class I at Apeejay Svran Global School, Faridabad, the journey has been reassuring and fulfilling. In this conversation, she shares how the school’s caring environment, focus on individual attention and holistic development have positively shaped her daughters’ early learning years.
Read edited excerpts:
What do your daughters like most about Apeejay Svran Global School?
Both Aadhaya and Aaradhya genuinely enjoy coming to school every day. As a parent, it makes me very happy to see their excitement. They love the school environment so much that they are always eager to attend. This enthusiasm itself speaks volumes about how comfortable and happy they feel at school.
How do school activities contribute to your children’s confidence?
The school regularly organises stage performances and events, which play a big role in building confidence in young children. From the very beginning, no child is ignored. Every student is encouraged to participate, and if a child is weak in any area, teachers work patiently to help them improve. This individual attention is something I truly appreciate.
Could you share your experience of school events like Grandparents’ Day?
Grandparents’ Day was a wonderful experience. The children performed songs and other activities, and everyone including parents, grandparents and students enjoyed it thoroughly. The children performed with joy and confidence, which is not something every school manages to bring out so naturally.
How does the school support the individual interests of your children?
Aadhaya has a strong interest in written work and loves answering questions, especially in class. Aaradhya, on the other hand, enjoys sports and activities like tennis, dance and computer-based learning. The school recognises these individual interests and gives them opportunities to grow in their own way.
What changes have you noticed in your children since joining the school?
I have seen noticeable improvement in their speaking skills, especially in English. They proudly share how their teachers appreciate their responses in class. They have also developed an interest in yoga and physical activities, making their overall development well-rounded.
How important are safety and hygiene for you as a parent?
Hygiene and safety matter a lot to me. My daughters often talk about how clean the washrooms are and how support staff are always present to help them. This gives me great peace of mind, especially as a mother.
