The Finance Club – FINAST₹A of Apeejay School of Management (ASM), Dwarka successfully organised an intellectually stimulating event, FinSprint – JD & Profile Challenge. Designed with a dual objective of testing financial acumen and exposing students to role-based industry challenges, the event created a perfect balance between conceptual knowledge and career-oriented application.
The challenge witnessed enthusiastic participation, turning the academic setting into a hub of competitive energy and innovative thinking.
The competition was structured around a Google Form-based quiz, thoughtfully divided into four distinct sets of questions, each reflecting specific finance profiles—Accounting Manager, Relationship Manager, Financial Analyst, and Investment Banker. This innovative approach ensured that participants were not only assessed on their theoretical understanding but were also challenged to apply concepts in real-world, job-specific scenarios. Such an experiential format enriched students’ perspective of how classroom learning translates into career pathways.

At the end of the closely contested event, Gurusharan Kaur clinched the first position, while Harshit and Sonakshi Saxena secured the second position jointly, earning appreciation from peers and faculty alike. Their performances highlighted the importance of preparation, analytical ability, and adaptability in competitive settings.
The event achieved multiple learning outcomes. It not only enhanced financial awareness but also promoted peer-to-peer learning, encouraged quick decision-making, and boosted confidence in handling profile-based challenges. Participants left with a stronger understanding of how different roles in finance demand varied skills and mindsets—an essential insight as they prepare for their professional journeys.
The success of FinSprint – JD & Profile Challenge was made possible through the unwavering guidance of faculty mentors, Dr. Pooja Chaturvedi and Prof. Nupur Soti, whose constant encouragement inspired the students to put forth their best efforts. The organising team, led by Sukrati Jain (President), Anupreksha Jain (Secretary), along with Jyoti Goyal and Ankit Priyadarshi, played a pivotal role in ensuring the event’s smooth execution.

In essence, FinSprint proved to be much more than a competition. It was a dynamic learning experience that combined knowledge with excitement, fostering skills, creativity, and confidence among future finance professionals. The initiative reinforced ASM’s commitment to providing experiential learning opportunities that prepare students not just for exams, but for the evolving demands of the corporate world.
