In an era where technology is rapidly reshaping education, Apeejay School, Model Town, has once again taken the lead in ensuring its educators are well-prepared to meet the demands of the digital age. The school recently organised an enriching in-house teacher training workshop focused on Moodle, a dynamic Learning Management System (LMS).

The aim of this workshop was clear – to empower teachers with the skills needed to create engaging, well-structured, and student-friendly online classrooms.

Hands-on Learning for Real Impact

The session was designed to be highly interactive and practical. Teachers received step-by-step guidance on the many features that Moodle offers. These included course creation, designing quizzes, uploading assignments, sharing resources, and managing student performance through the platform.

Participants were allowed to work directly on the LMS, making it a truly hands-on experience. With real-time demonstrations and guided tasks, educators could see how Moodle can be seamlessly integrated into their teaching routines.

Fostering Innovation in the Classroom

The energy in the room was palpable. Teachers showed great enthusiasm and curiosity as they explored the new tools. The training not only provided them with technical know-how but also sparked fresh ideas about how to make learning more interactive and personalised for their students.

The session highlighted the importance of using technology to support pedagogy, not replace it. Moodle allows teachers to organise content efficiently, offer immediate feedback to students, and monitor their progress – all within a user-friendly digital space.

Commitment to Lifelong Learning

Apeejay School, Model Town, has always believed in the power of continuous professional development. This session was a reflection of that commitment. By equipping teachers with cutting-edge digital tools, the school ensures that its classrooms remain innovative and future-ready. Training sessions like these also promote collaboration among staff, encouraging the exchange of ideas and best practices.

Towards a Future-ready Classroom

The successful completion of the Moodle workshop marks another milestone in the school’s journey towards digital excellence. It is initiatives like these that lay the foundation for blended and hybrid models of education, making learning more accessible and inclusive.

As we move forward, such efforts will continue to support our vision of nurturing competent, tech-savvy educators who can inspire students in both physical and virtual classrooms.

At Apeejay School, we believe that empowered teachers lead to empowered learners, and this workshop was a meaningful step in that direction.
