The Dr Stya Paul Memorial Innovation Marathon 2025 reinforced the idea that education is most impactful when it inspires curiosity and application. By turning knowledge into experiments and concepts into creations, the event proved that the future belongs to young minds who dare to imagine, innovate, and inspire.
The inauguration of the marathon, a two-day celebration of curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking, was held on August 29-30, 2025, at Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri. The event transformed the school into a buzzing hub of exploration, where students from Class VI onwards showcased their innovative working models across Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Social Science, and Economics.
The marathon was designed not just as an exhibition, but as a platform to nurture scientific temper and practical problem-solving. As the Principal of the school, Dr Vineet Vasishtha, emphasised, “innovation is more than invention; it is about shaping future leaders who can think differently and act decisively.”
Day 1 witnessed classrooms turning into live laboratories of imagination. Students presented renewable energy generators, Chemistry reaction simulations, anatomical structures, Math puzzles, and even AI-powered historical timelines. Their projects reflected weeks of collaboration, research, and deep engagement with concepts, proving that learning comes alive when theory meets practice.

Day 2 opened the exhibition to parents, who were delighted by the confidence, creativity, and clarity with which students explained their models. Their encouragement added warmth to the event, reinforcing the importance of community in education.
The projects were evaluated by an esteemed panel of Dr Jaivir Singh, Associate Professor & Head, Department of Physics, Janta Vidya Mandir Ganpat Rai Rasiwasia PG College, Charkhi Dadri, and Shri Ram Avtar Sharma (DEO Retd). Both judges commended the originality of ideas and provided insightful feedback, motivating students to keep innovating fearlessly.

Winners were felicitated in subject categories. Among them were Aksh and Vivek (XI) in Physics, Kashvika and Khushi (X) in Mathematics, Tanvi and Vaishnavi (XII) in Chemistry, Sanvi and Himanshi (IX) in Biology, and Khushi and Prerna (IX) in Social Science. Certificates of participation were awarded to all students to recognise their dedication.
The marathon concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by the Principal, appreciating the collective effort of teachers, parents, and students.
“The Innovation Marathon 2025 was a true testament to our students’ creativity and curiosity. I was delighted to see such enthusiastic participation and thoughtful models across all disciplines. Events like these inspire future scientists, researchers, and leaders. My sincere appreciation to our teachers, students, parents, and guest judges for their support. Let us continue to foster a spirit of innovation and inquiry in all that we do”, Dr Vasishtha said.
