How did you manage to score 94% in Class 12 while preparing for CLAT and juggling extracurriculars?

It wasn’t easy, but I started early and stayed consistent. I used to wake up at 4 AM and study tough subjects like Math and Legal Reasoning when my mind was fresh. Throughout the day, I focused on Economics, BST, and English. I followed a timetable that allowed me to dedicate time to both board prep and law entrance prep without rushing anything.

What were some practical study strategies that helped you stay on track?
I broke my syllabus down week by week. I ensured revision happened alongside learning new concepts. I didn’t wait for exam pressure to build up. Most importantly, I focused on quality over quantity. Also, taking regular short breaks and playing badminton in the evening with my younger brother helped me stay mentally refreshed.

How did you handle moments of exam stress and self-doubt?
There were plenty of anxious days. But I had my family’s support—especially my parents and my younger brother. Physical activity like badminton really helped clear my mind. And I always reminded myself of my purpose. Time management and emotional awareness together helped me stay grounded.

Tell us about your leadership work in the Interact Club. What did it teach you?
I joined the Interact Club during the pandemic. Initially, I created posters and handled digital webinars. As things went offline, I raised funds for leprosy patients, supported special needs students during their Diwali stall events, and ran campaigns on literacy and eco-awareness. It taught me empathy, teamwork, and how small actions can create big impact.

What did your creative side look like in school?
Very active! I loved writing scripts for house assemblies—on themes like Diwali, Environment Day, and Independence Day. I also mentored juniors to perform in plays. Apart from that, I played the keyboard and participated in dance and drama events. It helped me express myself and build confidence in public speaking too.

Do the school teachers play a key role in your success?

Yes. All the teachers were incredibly supportive. They motivated me and helped me believe in myself. I’m grateful to all my teachers at Apeejay Pitampura—they taught beyond textbooks.

What’s your message to juniors preparing for boards or balancing academics and activities?
Don’t chase perfection—chase progress. Begin early, be consistent, and trust your process. It’s okay to take breaks, to feel overwhelmed at times, but always come back stronger. Believe in your ability to handle it all—you’re more capable than you think.
