What was your preparation strategy to crack placements?
I believed that reading at least one newspaper daily was crucial for cracking placements in top networks like Republic Media and ITV Network which I did. During my PGD at Apeejay, I focused on building a strong portfolio throughout the year. Having a diverse body of work to showcase in interviews proved highly beneficial. In the media field, it’s important not to limit oneself to a single skill. I continuously work on developing multiple skills, including content writing, camera handling, scripting, editing, and understanding AI. The more skills you acquire, the better your opportunities and compensation you get.
