Meet Ms Puneet Kaur, an exceptional and deeply involved parent whose daughter, Japjee Kaur of UKG-A, studying at Apeejay Rhythms Kinderworld, Jalandhar, has bloomed beautifully at the school. With warmth, gratitude, and pride, she shares how the school has become a second home for her child, nurturing confidence, creativity, and joyful learning every day. From supportive teachers to a balanced Montessori approach, Ms Kaur highlights a truly positive journey that reflects holistic growth, strong communication, and a happy, thriving young learner.
How has your child’s journey and experience with the school been?
The school has been like a second home to her. I’ve never faced any problem. The teachers are understanding and caring, and she has truly bloomed. Her confidence and personality have grown beautifully. I would love to recommend the school to everyone I meet. Our experience so far has been wonderful.
What activities does she enjoy at school?
She enjoys painting and drawing on the classroom blackboard and beginning her day freely. The school gives children a sense of comfort and freedom, which helps them feel at ease.
How do teachers help children settle in?
Every morning, the teachers greet the children warmly. They hug them and ask about their feelings. This gesture makes the children comfortable and creates a homely environment.
Do you feel the school exposes children to varied experiences?
Yes, she loves dancing. The school encourages this through various activities, not just the annual function. The music teacher also trains them to sing, which adds to her interest. Besides academics, they take the children on city tours and involve them in diverse activities. They try their best to encourage learning in different ways.
How do you support her learning at home?
I try to sit with her for homework regularly, though some days are hit-and-miss. I also talk to her about her day, feelings, and activities. She loves dancing at home too.
Does the school maintain a balance between academics and play?
Yes, very well. They teach without pressure and focus on phonics to develop early reading. Being a Montessori school, they emphasise experiential learning along with basic academics.
Is your child happy and comfortable going to school?
She is genuinely happy and completely at ease with her teachers. Seeing her look forward to school every day reassures me. For me, nothing matters more than my child feeling secure, joyful, and emotionally comfortable in her learning environment.
How is the communication between parents and teachers?
It is truly seamless. The teachers are approachable, patient, and always willing to help. Whenever I share a concern, they listen with genuine attention and respond with thoughtful, practical solutions. This strong parent–teacher connection makes the entire experience reassuring and supportive.
