Devansh, the school topper with an impressive 98%, shared his journey and strategies for success. “I was overjoyed when I received my results,” he said. Although Devansh had anticipated scoring in the high 90s, achieving the top rank was a moment of pride. His preparation strategy was focused on daily revision and competency-based learning, aligning with the new CBSE exam patterns. “I didn’t follow a specific strategy but ensured consistent revision and tackling competency-based questions,” he explained.
English posed the biggest challenge for Devansh initially. “English was tough because it lacked fixed definitions for good answers. However, with continuous practice and feedback from pre-board exams, I grew more confident,” he recalled. Devansh attributed his success to the unwavering support from his teachers and the comprehensive study material, especially the NCERT books. “Treat NCERT books as your bible,” he advised. Devansh aims to pursue research in physics at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, reflecting his passion for science and dedication to academic excellence.
