Devyansh Chopra

When Devyansh Chopra checked his result, he was thrilled and overwhelmed. “Seeing a 98.8% as my best five score felt surreal. I started jumping out of excitement and delight. There was a moment of silence, then disbelief, then a lot of celebration with my family.”

The topper of Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park secured 100 in Maths and Artificial Intelligence, 99 in Social Science, 98 in French, 97 in English and 94 in Science. “My favourite subject has always been Maths, and I’m glad I scored 100 in it. I’ve always enjoyed problem-solving and performing calculations which has been my strong suit for years,” the toppeed shared.

Devyansh followed a steady and consistent strategy. “I thoroughly read NCERT books for all subjects before the preboards and revised them from time to time. I then took to solving previous years’ question papers and sample papers in a timed exam-like manner to closely replicate the actual exam scenario, which I believe was the most important of the preparation. I also focused on silly errors I made during this practice. For the final month, I studied along with my cousin which made it very enjoyable and stress-free,” he said.

He also added, “The teachers were incredibly supportive, right from doubt-solving to extra classes. They were always there for me, whenever I needed any help and really supported me in my preparation. Their notes, timely tests, constant motivation and guidance played a huge role in my success. The school also gave us the environment to stay focused and goal-driven. The preboards conducted were well structured, of great competency and provided a good idea of how the actual exam would be and proved to be of great help,” he highlighted.

Currently preparing for JEE, Devyansh wants to pursue a career in engineering and technology.  He further suggests to his juniors, “Focus on the basics and avoid overconfidence, because most marks are often lost in simple mistakes. Most importantly, don’t stress. Contrary to what many believe, board exams are actually easier than your school exams if you’ve prepared well. Believe in your hard work and trust the process and the results will definitely be in your favour.”

Aabhas Sahu

“When I saw the result, it was a mixed reaction, happy and sad, as I could have done better in some of the subjects,” expressed Aabhas Sahu, the second topper from Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, who secured  98% , has scored 100/100 in Mathematics, Sanskrit, Artificial Intelligence, 98 in Science, 92 English and Social Science.

When asked about his preparation strategy, Aabhas emphasised, “I studied consistently throughout the year and tried to finish my work on the same day. Before the exam, I solved some sample papers and previous year question papers.” In the pressure of exam and preparation, Devyansh stayed organised taking breaks during study sessions. “I also spoke to my parents and teachers whenever I felt overwhelmed. Staying positive and sleeping well before exams really helped me stay calm.”

Crediting that the school was very supportive he further highlighted, “Our teachers explained difficult topics patiently, conducted regular doubt-clearing sessions, and gave us mock tests, which helped us get used to the exam pattern. Their constant encouragement kept me motivated.”  Aabhash plans to pursue the science stream in senior secondary and eventually aim for a career in engineering.

Anvi Gupta

When the CBSE result was declared Anvi Gupta was absolutely thrilled. The third topper from the school who secured 97.8% said, “My first reaction was disbelief—I checked the result twice just to be sure! Then came a wave of happiness, and I couldn’t be prouder.”

She further addded, “This score exceeded my expectations and gave me a huge boost of confidence. I’m deeply grateful to my teachers, parents, and friends who supported me throughout the year.”

Anvi scored a full centum in Artificial Intelligence, 98 in English, 97 in Science, Hindi,  Social Science and 95 in Maths. “I tried to give equal attention to all of them, as each had its own importance and something different to offer,” said Avni.

Sharing her preparation strategy that was based on consistency and smart planning, Avni focused on understanding concepts rather than just memorising. “I solved past years’ question papers and sample papers to get familiar with the exam pattern. I also made short notes for quick revision and gave extra attention to subjects or topics I found challenging. Staying calm and maintaining a balanced routine helped me stay focused throughout the year,” she shared.

“My school provided great support throughout my preparation. The teachers were always available to clarify doubts and provided helpful resources. The structured schedule and regular school tests helped me stay on track, while the overall environment kept me focused and motivated,” she further explained.

Anvi maintained a positive attitude and followed a structured  daily routine to maintain a good balance between study and rest.  The Apeejay student’s future plan is to pursue a career in engineering. “Right now, I’m focusing on strengthening my knowledge in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) and preparing for the JEE examination,” she said.

Sharing quick tips for her juniors, she highlighted, “Make a study plan, practice past papers, and try to balance your time between all subjects. Don’t forget to take care of yourself—get enough sleep, eat well, and take breaks when you need them. Stay positive, manage your stress, and remember it’s okay to ask for help when you’re stuck. A little bit of consistency and a calm mindset can really make a difference.”
