As the academic year concludes, the much-awaited CBSE Class XII Board results have been declared, signalling a significant milestone in the academic journey of students nationwide. At Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, students have risen to the occasion, achieving exceptional results and setting new standards of academic excellence. With top ranks and stellar performances across subjects, they have demonstrated remarkable dedication and commitment in their CBSE results.

In candid interviews, these exceptional achievers share their inspiring journeys..

Samaira Mulchandani, a student of the Humanities stream, has scored an impressive 97.2% in her board examinations. She achieved her highest marks in Psychology, History and Economics securing 99 out of 100 in each subject.
“I’m quite satisfied and happy with my results,” Samaira shared. Speaking about her preparation strategy, she explained, “For Psychology, I focused on making detailed notes and flowcharts. Understanding the concepts was crucial, especially in subjects like Psychology and Economics. Throughout the year, my teachers guided me and helped me stay on track.”

She emphasised that it wasn’t about the number of hours she studied each day but about consistency. “Every day, no matter how much time I had, I made sure to complete my given tasks. I believe consistency is key.”

All the subjects in the Humanities stream were her personal choice. “Each one has been a favourite, and I’m grateful I got to study what I truly enjoy.” Looking ahead, Samaira plans to pursue Psychology as a career. “I have a deep interest in the subject, and I truly feel it’s the path I want to follow in the future.”

Bhavishya Bainiwal, a student of the Commerce stream, scored 95.8% in class XII results. “Business Studies was my favourite subject, and I scored 99 marks. I made it a point to prepare detailed notes, which helped me grasp the concepts and perform well in exams. The support from my teachers was also incredible—they were always ready to help whenever I needed guidance. I thoroughly studied the NCERT textbook, worked through relevant case studies, and practised previous years’ exam papers.

To be honest, I studied for about 3 to 4 hours a day. To manage stress, I made the most of my hobbies like boxing and MMA, which kept me refreshed and focused. Tip for juniors: Study when you genuinely feel like it. Don’t force yourself — learning is most effective when you’re in the right mindset.

Aashini Sameer, a student of the Humanities stream, scored 95.8%, where she shared that she felt nice looking at her result. “I was so happy when I saw my result. Everyone—my parents, friends, relatives—congratulated me, and I started getting a lot of messages. I took Humanities with Mathematics and Economics, and I genuinely enjoyed all my subjects, especially Economics, in which I scored 99. My strategy involved consistent note-making throughout the year (except for History), followed by revising those notes and solving numerous sample papers. A month before the boards, I focused almost entirely on practice papers, which helped reinforce what I’d already learned through the Pre-boards,” she stated.

The teachers were very supportive, especially in Economics and English, where classroom notes formed the core of her preparation. “Everything was well-structured, so I just had to revise and retain it. I’ve appeared for a few entrance exams and am now preparing for CUET. I plan to pursue a BA (Hons) in Economics and look forward to where this journey takes me,” Aashini concluded.
