CBSE Board Exams 2025: Registration process and deadlines



The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has commenced the registration process for the List of Candidates (LOC) for the class 10 and 12 board exams, scheduled to begin on February 15, 2025. Schools must submit the list of candidates appearing for the 2025 Board exams through the Pariksha Sangam portal on the CBSE website (cbse.gov.in). The last date for submitting the LOC without a late fee is October 4, 2024.

Schools that miss this deadline can register candidates with a late fee of Rs 2,000 per candidate from October 5 to October 15, 2024.Students of class 10 and 12 must first complete the form and register through the Pariksha Sangam portal before proceeding with the online submission. Schools will use their Affiliation Number as their user ID for registration. Additionally, CBSE has instructed all existing schools to update their data on the OASIS and HPE portals before starting the LOC submission.

The exam fees for Indian students are set at Rs 1,500 per candidate for five subjects and Rs 300 per subject for additional subjects for both class 10 and 12. For students from Nepal, the fee is Rs 5,000 per candidate for five subjects and Rs 1,000 per subject for any additional subject.

Students from other countries are required to pay Rs 10,000 per candidate for five subjects and Rs 2,000 per subject for additional subjects. The practical fee is Rs 150 per practical subject per candidate for schools in India and Nepal and Rs 350 per practical subject for schools abroad.

CBSE will provide a separate online submission link for private candidates and second-chance compartment candidates. All students and schools are advised to adhere strictly to these deadlines and guidelines to ensure smooth registration for the 2025 Board exams.
