Building bonds from day one 

Recently, Apeejay Rhythms Kinderworld, Jalandhar hosted a thoughtfully curated orientation programme, warmly welcoming the parents and young learners who have recently joined the school community. The session served as an engaging platform to familiarise families with the school’s ethos, academic framework, and the enriching journey that lies ahead for their children. 

The programme provided parents with clear and comprehensive insights into the school’s functioning, including its yearly academic plan, co-curricular activities, and daily schedule. Designed to ease the transition for both children and parents, the orientation highlighted the importance of a balanced approach to learning where academics, creativity, and personal growth go hand in hand.

A key highlight of the session was the Jolly Phonics training conducted by the teachers. This interactive segment introduced parents and students to effective phonetic techniques that support early language development. By involving parents in this process, the school reinforced the idea of collaborative learning, where home and school work together to nurture foundational skills in young learners.

The programme witnessed the presence of Principal, Apeejay School, Model Town, Dr Rajesh Kumar Chandel, School In-charge, Ms Nidhi Ghai, along with the dedicated teaching staff, all of whom contributed to making the session informative and welcoming.  

The event commenced with a warm welcome address by the Principal, who extended his greetings to the new families and emphasised the school’s commitment to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment. His address reassured parents about the school’s dedication to holistic development and academic excellence.
