Proud to have achieved this rewarding milestone, she feels grateful for the opportunity and is excited to begin her professional journey with such a reputed organisation. Read her interview as she shares her thoughts.

Can you tell us about the role you have secured and what excites you most about joining a multinational company?

I have secured the role of Account Manager at Anand Rathi Wealth Ltd. The role primarily involves managing client relationships, understanding their financial goals, and assisting them with appropriate wealth management solutions. What excites me the most is the opportunity to work in a dynamic financial environment where I can learn about wealth advisory, investment strategies, and portfolio management while interacting with diverse clients.

What key skills or specialisations during your MBA journey helped you stand out in the recruitment process?

My specialisations in Finance and Business Analytics played a crucial role in the recruitment process. Courses related to financial markets, portfolio analysis, and data-driven decision-making helped me develop a strong analytical mindset. Additionally, my ability to interpret financial data, understand investment strategies, and communicate insights effectively helped me stand out during the selection process.

How did internships, live projects, or industry interactions at Apeejay School of Management prepare you for this opportunity?

At Apeejay School of Management, internships and industry interactions provided practical exposure beyond classroom learning. Working on financial analysis assignments, portfolio reviews, and market research helped me understand real-world financial scenarios. These experiences enhanced my confidence, improved my analytical skills, and prepared me to approach client-focused financial roles professionally.

Can you share insights into the selection process and how you prepared for interviews and assessments?
The selection process involved multiple stages including an aptitude assessment, technical discussions, and personal interviews. To prepare, I focused on strengthening my understanding of financial markets, investment concepts, and current economic trends. I also practiced interview questions, reviewed my academic learnings, and stayed updated with market developments to confidently handle technical and situational questions.

What challenges did you face during placements, and how did you overcome them?
One of the key challenges during placements was maintaining confidence and consistency throughout the recruitment process. Competition for good roles can be intense, so staying prepared and positive was important. I overcame this by continuously improving my financial knowledge, seeking feedback from mentors, and staying disciplined in my preparation.

What advice would you give to fellow management students aspiring to secure roles in multinational organisations?

My advice would be to focus on building strong fundamentals, developing practical skills, and staying updated with industry trends. Participate actively in internships, live projects, and networking opportunities. Most importantly, be confident in your abilities and remain consistent in your preparation. With the right mindset and dedication, opportunities with reputed organisations will definitely follow.
