In this candid conversation, she shares how the confidence instilled in her at ASM shaped her personal and professional life. With warmth, enthusiasm, and a love for people, Yogita talks about career beginnings, classroom memories, and the little joys of campus life. Read edited excerpts:

Tell us about your work day. What are your roles and responsibilities at DLF?

I’m currently working as an HR Generalist at DLF, and every day is full of people interactions—which I love! A big part of my job is onboarding new employees and making sure they feel comfortable and welcomed from the very first day. My manager is incredibly supportive and patient, and I’m learning so much from him. It’s a great environment to grow in.

What were your biggest learnings from the PGDM course at ASM?
ASM taught me to believe in myself, something that was very important for me at the time. The course structure, peer learning, and especially the mentorship of the faculty helped me understand that patience and faith in one’s abilities are essential ingredients for success.

Did the faculty at ASM support and engage well with students?
Absolutely! My teachers were incredible. They believed in me even when I had doubts about myself. Their support and encouragement made a huge difference. They were approachable, kind, and really cared about how each student was doing—not just academically, but personally too.

Were there enough assignments, presentations, and real-world exposure?
Yes, there were plenty of assignments and presentations. At the time, they felt challenging, but looking back, I realise how much they helped me polish my skills—especially communication, critical thinking, and teamwork. These experiences have been directly useful in my current job.

How was your campus life? What were your favourite moments or hobbies?
Campus life was amazing! I loved the learning environment and spending time with my peers. I’m a people person, so I truly enjoyed every moment of interaction—be it group projects, informal hangouts, or classroom discussions. Those days gave me friendships and memories I’ll always cherish.
