‘Apeejay’s environment is very conducive for learning’

At Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg, we believe in nurturing young minds to excel both academically and personally. To understand how our efforts impact families, we spoke with Mrs. Aggarwal, mother of Kavish Aggarwal, a 7th grade student. His younger brother Krishiv is in 1st grade in the same school. Here’s what she shared about her experiences at Apeejay. Read edited excerpts:

Why did you choose Apeejay for your children?

Both my husband and I are Apeejay alumni. My husband attended nursery through Mahavir Marg, and I completed my 11th, 12th, and college at Apeejay. It’s close to our house, and we received excellent reviews from friends and relatives whose children study here.

How do you feel about your younger son Krishiv’s performance at school?

I’m very happy with Krishiv’s performance. He has been groomed well, and his confidence has grown significantly since he started.

And what about Kavish’s performance?

I’m also pleased with Kavish’s performance. He scored above 96% in class 6 and participates in various activities like chess, basketball, and badminton.

How does Apeejay handle complaints and suggestions from parents?

Apeejay addresses any concerns promptly. When I discussed some work-related issues with Kavish’s teacher, she listened attentively and resolved them. I feel heard and satisfied.

How does the school ensure personal care for younger children?

The teachers know the children personally and provide individual attention, especially in younger classes. For older students, they address any issues as they arise. 

Have you noticed any changes in the school’s infrastructure?

Yes, there have been many improvements in the infrastructure, including the reception area and auditorium. The environment is very conducive to learning.

Can you tell us about Kavish’s extracurricular activities?

Kavish participates in various activities, including sports and art classes. He also took part in the annual day English play last year and enjoyed it thoroughly.

How do your children fare academically?

Both my sons are doing well academically. Kavish excels in his studies, and Krishiv’s teacher says he is one of the best students in his class.

What can you tell us about Kavish’s personality?

Kavish is a bit shy but has many friends. He loves to speak but doesn’t participate much in debates due to his shyness. However, he enjoys participating in plays and other activities.

Do your children attend any tuitions?

No, I teach them myself at home.
