Apeejay wishes Happy Birthday to the visionary leader Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia

A leader par excellence, Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairperson, Apeejay Education and Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University is a multidimensional personality, who has devoted her life to nation-building with global footprints. Her diverse persona encompasses that of a distinguished entrepreneur, educationist, and industrialist. And with her unwavering dedication, Mrs Berlia effortlessly juggles her roles as a humanitarian, devoted daughter, caring spouse, nurturing mother, and a loving grandmother.

In addition to the above-mentioned roles, Mrs. Berlia’s visionary leadership and profound influence extend to her significant contributions to Apeejay schools and higher education. Her invaluable guidance and transformative vision have been instrumental in shaping each institution’s values and charting a course toward excellence. This inspirational leader’s dedication to achieve excellence has left an indelible mark on the institutions and their members.

And today, November 2, marks a special day in the Apeejay Education as the members gather together to celebrate the birthday of Mrs Berlia. Faculty members and students of Apeejay School of Management (ASM) as well as Apeejay  Institute of Mass Communication (AIMC) in Dwarka celebrated the day with much enthusiasm and fervour. 

On this special occasion, Apeejay family in Dwarka organised a heartfelt assembly. The assembly commenced with an address by Prof. Sajal Mukherjee, Director at AIMC, who conveyed warm wishes to the Chairperson on behalf of the Apeejay Dwarka Campus.  Prof. Mukherjee said, “The entire campus celebrated Maam’s birthday with great enthusiasm, fostering a strong sense of belonging and unity within the Apeejay family.”

Further, Dr. Etinder Pal Singh, Dy. Director at ASM, read out a heartfelt thank-you message from the Chairperson, expressing her gratitude to everyone for their kind wishes and support. The message highlighted the importance of unity and dedication in achieving collective goals. Following the thank-you message, everyone present took a beautiful pledge that was shared by Mrs. Berlia herself. Dr. Singh further added, “The ASM and AIMC came together to wish our beloved Chairperson Ma’am a very Happy Birthday, hoping that she will continue guiding us and the society for a long time to come.”

Another highlight of this special day was a delightful cultural performance that showcased the unique talents of the students from both the institutes – ASM and AIMC. The students also presented beautiful poems and melodious songs, captivating the audience with their performances.  The cultural show also demonstrated the artistic abilities nurtured within the Apeejay institutions.

Concluding the event on a celebratory note, students and faculty members released colourful balloons into the sky, symbolising the joy and unity of the Apeejay community. This moment created a sense of togetherness and marked the culmination of a memorable assembly.  The event left everyone inspired and filled with a sense of unity and pride. 

At the same time, members of Apeejay Education at the Head Office located in Panchsheel Park marked the occasion with cheer and enthusiasm. From Education Officers to students and staff, all gathered to launch balloons in the air and spread the virtues that Mrs Berlia stands for. It was a delightful day filled with cheer and revelry.
