With a sense of pride and deep cultural appreciation, Apeejay Svran Global School, Sector 21D, Faridabad, celebrated Haryana Day through a special assembly that showcased the vibrant essence of the state — its courage, simplicity, and progress. The event, titled “Celebrating the Spirit of Haryana – A Tribute to the Land of Courage and Prosperity,” brought together students in a colourful celebration of tradition and identity.
A Morning Filled with Culture and Learning
The assembly commenced with a heartfelt prayer seeking peace and prosperity for Haryana, followed by an informative presentation narrating the story of the state’s formation in 1966. Students shared fascinating insights about Haryana’s transformation from an agrarian economy to a rapidly developing hub of industry and education. They also highlighted the values of hard work, resilience, and pride that define the people of this land.
Adding rhythm and melody to the morning, a poem dedicated to Haryana and a melodious group song echoed across the stage, celebrating the state’s beauty and bravery. The most captivating part of the event was the traditional Haryanvi dance performance, where students, dressed in colourful attire, showcased the region’s folk charm. Their energetic moves, set to the beats of folk music, filled the atmosphere with applause and enthusiasm.
