Apeejay Stya University empowers students with career clarity at Career Junction Fair

Apeejay Stya University (ASU) actively participated in the Career Launcher Career Fair titled “Career Junction”, an undergraduate-focused guidance event held at Le-luxe Banquets, Gurgaon–Faridabad Road. Organised by Career Launcher (CL) Gurgaon and Faridabad under the leadership of Mr. Deepak Madan, the event brought together aspiring undergraduate students and leading universities on a common platform to explore academic pathways and career opportunities after Class 12.

The career fair witnessed the participation of around 150 undergraduate students, who engaged enthusiastically with representatives from reputed institutions, including Apeejay Stya University, Gurugram and others. The event was designed to help students gain clarity about higher education choices, skill-based careers, and the expectations of today’s evolving industries.

Representing Apeejay Stya University at the event were Mr. Sachin Kumar Gupta, DGM – Admissions and Outreach, Mr. Abhishek Kumar Thakur, Manager – Admissions and Outreach, and Dr. Saroj Kumar, Senior Faculty Member from the School of Biosciences. The ASU team interacted closely with students and parents, offering personalised career guidance and insights into a wide range of undergraduate programmes offered by the university.

During the interactions, the ASU representatives discussed various aspects of university life, including academic structure, interdisciplinary programmes, industry-oriented curriculum, placement support, and campus life. Students were guided on aligning their interests and strengths with suitable courses, understanding emerging career trends, and making informed decisions about higher education. Special emphasis was laid on employability skills, industry exposure, and the importance of early planning for admissions to top universities.

Adding an engaging dimension to the event, the organisers conducted a quiz competition for participating students. The activity not only tested students’ awareness of careers and education but also created an interactive and lively atmosphere. Winners of the quiz were felicitated with mementos by representatives of the participating universities, further motivating students to actively engage with the event.

The objective of Career Junction was to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of career options after 10+2, offer clarity on higher education and skill-based career pathways, and motivate them to plan their academic journey proactively.
