Apeejay School, Saket’s Interact Club leads cleanliness drive at neighbourhood park

The Interact Club of Apeejay School, Saket recently organised a successful Cleanliness Drive at the neighbourhood park in the locality. This event was a community service initiative aimed at raising awareness about the importance of cleanliness, fostering environmental responsibility, and encouraging sustainable practices among students and the local community. The drive saw enthusiastic participation from 25 Interactors—student members of the club—along with teachers and support staff who came together to make a positive impact on their surroundings.

The Cleanliness Drive began with a ralfzly, during which the Interactors marched around the park, chanting slogans in support of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, a national campaign dedicated to promoting cleanliness across India. The students’ voices echoed throughout the park, attracting the attention of local residents and reinforcing the importance of keeping public spaces clean and litter-free. With energy and commitment, the Interactors picked up litter, removed debris, and worked together to make the park a cleaner, greener space for everyone.

This initiative not only transformed the appearance of the park but also inspired community members to take responsibility for maintaining their local environment. Several residents approached the students and teachers to express their appreciation, noting the dedication and enthusiasm shown by the young participants. Their efforts demonstrated how small, collective actions can contribute to larger community welfare goals, encouraging others to join the movement toward environmental conservation.
