The air was filled with excitement and pride as Apeejay School, Noida hosted its
much-anticipated Annual Appreciation Day for students of Classes III to V. This grand celebration of talent, creativity, and academic excellence turned the school auditorium into a vibrant arena of young achievers, brimming with enthusiasm and determination. Parents, teachers, and students eagerly gathered to witness a spectacular showcase of performances, achievements, and heartfelt moments that celebrated the relentless spirit of learning and growth. With around 580 students participating, the event truly reflected the dedication and vibrancy of the school community.

A Grand Beginning

The event commenced with a green welcome to the esteemed Chief Guest, Ms. Vidhi Sharma, an eminent vocalist and recipient of the prestigious Global Indian Music Award. This was followed by the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp, invoking the blessings of the almighty. The auspicious moment was graced by the Principal, Chief Guest, Vice Principals, Primary Incharge, and proud grandparents of the students, setting a reverent tone for the day.

The Principal, Dr. Neha Sharma, formally welcomed the Chief Guest and the esteemed gathering of parents and grandparents. She expressed her pride in the students’ achievements and shared insightful parenting tips through a heartfelt poem, resonating deeply with the audience.

An Enchanting Musical Prelude

The event opened with a melodious invocation song performed by the young students, filling the auditorium with a divine and uplifting aura. Following this, a spectacular orchestral performance showcased the talent of eighty budding instrumentalists, who mesmerised the audience with their synchronised and harmonious melodies.

A key highlight of the day was the Annual School Report, presented eloquently by a group of student leaders, including the Head Boy, Head Girl, Vice Head Boy, and Vice Head Girl of the Primary Department. The Chief Guest, Ms. Vidhi Sharma, praised the school’s management and teachers for fostering an environment that nurtures the unique talents of every student. The performance highlighted themes of wit, courage, and essential life skills, portraying a fearless Little Red who overcame challenges using resilience and intelligence rather than mere physical strength. The captivating play left the audience both entertained and inspired.

The event was further elevated by a vibrant array of performances, including dance, drama, aerobics, yoga, and both vocal and instrumental music. The students, adorned in their colourful costumes, performed with unwavering enthusiasm and confidence, making the event a visual and auditory delight.
