Apeejay School, Faridabad commemorates the 101st birth anniversary of Smt. Rajeshwari Paul

Apeejay School, Faridabad held a heartfelt special assembly to mark the 101st birth anniversary of Late Smt. Rajeshwari Paul, wife of Dr Stya Paul & the ‘first lady’ of Apeejay Stya & Svran Group. The commemorative event was not only a tribute but also a celebration of her enduring influence on the school’s values, vision, and love for the arts.

Floral tribute to a noble soul

The solemn occasion began with the offering of floral tributes by the School Principal Ms Snehlata Krishnan, Academic Coordinator, Pre-Primary Incharge and faculty members. With folded hands and reverent silence, the school community paid homage to a woman whose life was dedicated to nurturing kindness, creativity, and character in education.

The assembly featured a series of emotionally resonant presentations by the students. A special prayer and soul-soothing bhajans set the tone for the morning, invoking peace and gratitude. This was followed by a short but powerful poem dedicated to mothers, symbolising Smt. Rajeshwari Paul Ji’s nurturing spirit. The programme concluded with a graceful dance performance by students, honouring her profound appreciation for Indian culture and the performing arts.

The School Principal read a moving message from Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group & Chancellor Apeejay Stya University, and Chairman, Apeejay Education. In her message, Madam President urged students to uphold the timeless virtues that Smt. Rajeshwari Paul Ji stood for – nobility of character, dedication to hard work, unwavering kindness, and deep commitment to purpose. Her words served as an inspiring reminder for young minds to blend academic excellence with human values.

Mrs. Deepa Sharma, the Academic Coordinator, delivered a closing address that beautifully encapsulated the essence of the occasion. She emphasised the need for holistic development – encouraging students to explore their creative passions beyond the classroom. She fondly recalled Rajeshwari Paul Ji as a true patron of the arts and introduced a specially curated art exhibition displayed in her memory, showcasing the school’s creative talents.
