‘Education is the manifestation of perfection already present in man.’
Recently, Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri, marked the auspicious festival of Vasant Panchami with deep devotion and spiritual enthusiasm. The celebration beautifully reflected the school’s commitment to nurturing values, culture, and a lifelong respect for learning among students.
The programme commenced with the Saraswati poojan, where students and teachers offered flowers and prayers to Goddess Saraswati, seeking her blessings for wisdom, knowledge, and creativity. The serene and prayerful atmosphere symbolised the reverence for education and learning, which lies at the heart of the institution’s ethos. The ritual was performed with traditional grace, instilling a sense of discipline and cultural pride among students.
A special lecture by Mr Sanjeev Mishra added intellectual depth to the occasion. He highlighted the significance of Vasant Panchami and emphasised the importance of moral values, discipline, dedication, and humility in shaping young minds. His inspiring address encouraged students to pursue education not merely as an academic goal but as a means of holistic personal growth.

The celebration continued with the lighting of the ceremonial diya, symbolising the triumph of knowledge over ignorance. This was followed by soulful prayers and bhajans, sung melodiously by students, which filled the hall with devotion and tranquillity. The spiritual ambience was further enriched by graceful devotional dance performances, where students expressed their reverence towards Goddess Saraswati through elegant movements and expressions, earning warm appreciation from the audience.
Addressing the gathering, the school Principal Dr Vineet Vasishtha blessed the students and reinforced the importance of values-based education. He remarked, “Such celebrations help inculcate discipline, devotion, and respect for learning from an early age. I am proud of our students’ enthusiastic participation and hope they continue to grow into responsible, knowledgeable, and compassionate individuals.” Special encouragement was extended to the primary wing students, whose active involvement reflected joyful learning as well.

The celebration concluded on a spiritually uplifting note, leaving students enriched with cultural awareness, moral values, and a deeper respect for India’s rich traditions. The Vasant Panchami celebration at Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri, truly emerged as a meaningful and inspiring experience for the entire school community.
