A true karmayogi, educationist, industrialist, freedom fighter, philanthropist, visionary, and the inspiration behind all Apeejay Education institutions, Founder Chairman of the Apeejay Stya Group Dr Stya Paul continues to be a beacon of inspiration for the Apeejay family. His vision of value-based holistic education has guided Apeejay Education for decades.
Thus, remembering this visionary leader on his 104th birth anniversary, Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication (AIMC) and Apeejay School of Management (ASM) in Dwarka celebrated the Founder’s Day with much reverence.
The Apeejay family recalled Dr Stya Paul’s exemplary contribution to the field of education. Envisioning holistic education of global dimensions leading to man-making and nation-building, Dr Paul had started Apeejay Education in 1967 in a small school in Jalandhar. His dream, today, stands as a living reality in the form of 26 institutions of Apeejay pan-India.
Students and faculty members of Apeejay Campus in Dwarka remembered his legacy of excellence and resonated how his thoughts motivate them to follow ethical presentation. The day began with each member paying a heartfelt tribute and shradhanjali to Dr Stya Paul.

Prof. Ashok Ogra, Advisor, Mass Communication AIMC, fondly remembered Dr Paul and said, “He has been the guiding force of the Apeejay family.” He further emphasised how his life is a true reflection of everything that a man should be.
Professor Sajal Mukherjee, Director at AIMC, in his message to the students said, “It is the vision of Dr Stya Paul that is driving the philosophy of the Apeejay Education Group and helping it move towards excellence.”

Echoing a similar emotion, Prof. Etinder Pal, Deputy Director of ASM, said, “The life of Dr Stya Paul is truly exemplary and carries the message of achieving great heights for all his students and the entire Apeejay family.”
Dr Paul was a firm advocate of the mind and body balance and thus, keeping the spirit of his message alive, a session was delivered on, ‘Lifestyle Management’ by reputed doctors from Max. A blood donation camp as well as an eye test session was also organised for the students.

The day also witnessed a competition on presentations, titled, “Ethical Management Practices and Young Managers”, which was followed by a thrilling cultural programme. The day concluded with the distribution of awards for the “Ethical Manager Presentation” and conferring young achievers including Rohan Pandey of second-year from ASM and Parivesh Maheshwari from AIMC with Dr Stya Paul Award for Human Values.
