AI market in India likely to reach US Dollar 7.8 billion by 2025: UNESCO

UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation) has recently launched its fourth edition of the State of the Education Report for India. Titled “Artificial Intelligence in Education – Here, There and Everywhere,” this annual flagship report is based on thorough research. It provides a comprehensive introduction to Artificial Intelligence (AI) and highlights the challenges and opportunities that AI can address in the Indian Education Sector.

As per the press release launched, it is reported that the AI Market in India is likely to reach US Dollar 7.8 billion by 2025 at the rate of 20.2 percent compound annual growth.

Further, to match India’s curriculum to make the students ready for the AI economy, India’s National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 lays a big emphasis on the need to impart the necessary technical knowledge and the integration of AI in Education and to also promote quality and skill-based education.
