The campus of Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC), Jalandhar came alive with enthusiasm and anticipation as Aarambh 2025—the much-awaited 21-day induction programme—kicked off for the incoming batches of MBA, MCA, BBA, BCA, B.Com, and B.Tech CSE students. Designed to ease the transition into college life, the programme marks the beginning of a transformative academic journey for the first-year students.

In his inaugural address, Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director of AIMETC, warmly welcomed the new students, remarking, “Every great journey begins with a first step – and today, our new students took theirs with pride at Aarambh 2025.” He shared the inspiring legacy of the institute, recalling the vision of Founder Chairman, Dr. Stya Paul, and the dynamic leadership of Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, Chancellor Apeejay Stya University, and Chairman, Apeejay Education.’

Dr. Bagga emphasised the institute’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence, value-based education, and global exposure. He encouraged students to actively embrace opportunities that would build self-confidence, effective communication, and teamwork—qualities essential for both personal growth and professional success.

The ceremony also featured an important segment—Meet Your Mentors—where students were introduced to faculty members who will guide them academically and support their participation in co-curricular activities. This mentor-mentee bond aims to create a nurturing environment that will help students navigate challenges and maximise their potential.

Orientation Highlights included:

A comprehensive briefing on academic processes, institutional policies, and campus facilities.

Hands-on training in the ERP system to ensure smooth access to learning resources and administrative services.

Insights into internships, live industry projects, and value-added courses tailored to enhance employability.

A strong emphasis on discipline, ethics, and moral values, reinforcing the institute’s vision of fostering responsible and respectful professionals.

As the orientation unfolded, students began to get a glimpse of the diverse learning experiences ahead—ranging from academic enrichment sessions to cultural activities and skill-building workshops. Aarambh 2025 is more than an introduction to the campus; it is a launchpad for personal development, professional readiness, and holistic growth.

Over the next 21 days, the programme promises to immerse students in a vibrant mix of lectures, interactive sessions, industry exposure, and cultural engagement. By the end of it, the participants will not only be familiar with their new academic home but will also be better prepared to excel in the years to come.
