A Symphony of Success for Apeejay Stya University

Stellar performances in music and dance earn top honours at the 39th North Central Zone AIU Youth Festival

Apeejay Stya University (ASU) proudly demonstrated its cultural brilliance at the 39th North Central Zone AIU Youth Festival held at Maharishi Markandeshwar (MM) University, Mullana (Ambala). Competing among 27 participating universities from across the region, ASU students delivered exceptional performances, showcasing remarkable talent, discipline, and artistic dedication.

The festival served as a prestigious platform for young artists to exhibit their skills across diverse cultural categories. Apeejay Stya University made a strong mark by securing 1st Position in Indian Group Song, Light Vocal Solo, Western Vocal Solo, and Classical Dance. These achievements reflected not only the artistic excellence of the students but also their consistent hard work and rigorous preparation.

Adding to the University’s success, ASU secured 2nd Position in Western Group Song, demonstrating versatility and command over different musical styles. The students further brought laurels by clinching 3rd Positions in Classical Instrumental (Percussion), Classical Instrumental (Non-Percussion), and Western Instrumental categories. In addition, ASU achieved 4th Position in Classical Vocal Solo, reinforcing its strong presence in the field of performing arts.

In recognition of these outstanding accomplishments, Apeejay Stya University was awarded the Overall Music Trophy under the able direction of Dr. Anadi Mishra. The University also proudly secured the Overall 3rd Runner-Up position at the festival, marking a significant milestone in its cultural journey.

These achievements stand as a testament to the unwavering support and encouragement extended by the university leadership. A participant Deepali Pameh shared, “Participating in the 39th AIU North Central Youth Festival 2026 was truly a dream come true for me. Winning 3 Gold and 1 Silver medals in the music categories has been an unforgettable experience, and I am immensely grateful to Apeejay Stya University and my mentors for their constant guidance and encouragement. This achievement has strengthened my confidence and inspired me to aim even higher in my musical journey.” 

“Participating in the AIU North Central Youth Festival 2026 was an enriching and proud moment for me. Winning the Gold medal in Classical Dance felt like a beautiful reward for years of dedication, discipline, and passion. I am deeply thankful to Apeejay Stya University and my mentors for believing in me and supporting me throughout this journey,” expressed another participant  Khushi Batra.

Another student participant Denis Tigga mentioned, “I feel deeply honoured to be a part of AIU UNIFEST. Participating in the Western Group Singing competition has been a truly enriching experience for me and my team. Securing the 2nd position is a privilege, and I sincerely thank my mentors, the organizers, and everyone who supported and guided us throughout this journey. This recognition encourages us to continue learning and improving. Thank you very much.”

The entire contingent was efficiently coordinated and managed by Apeejay Stya University faculty Dr. Sonam Raheja, whose dedicated efforts ensured seamless participation and preparation for the festival.

With these remarkable victories, the winning teams are now set to represent Apeejay Stya University at the AIU National Youth Festival in Chennai. Carrying forward the spirit of excellence, creativity, and cultural pride, ASU continues to strengthen its legacy as a hub of holistic education and artistic achievement.
