A stellar victory on the football field

The Apeejay School, Kharghar’s Under-15 football team upholstered a spirit-filled glut of skills and teamwork to emerge winners in the prestigious PMC District-level Subroto Mukherjee Cup Football Tournament. The school emerged at the top among 32 participating teams, proving its athletic prowess and commitment, with team spirit.

The tournament pitted Apeejay’s young athletes against some of the finest teams in the district. Getting into the finals was a journey with many nail-biting matches, showcasing the resilience and strategic brilliance of our team. The crowning glory of this tournament was indeed the final match with Vibgyor School, wherein Apeejay sank home the coveted trophy convincingly with a 2-0 victory.

Key Players and Match Highlights

Under expert guidance by Coach Mr Kazim, the team strategy was perfectly played out on the field. The well-calculated goals were scored in each half of the match by the forwards. Therefore, this confirms that all of this is happening because there is so much game planning going on and, subsequently, excellent execution. As such, the defense also did a wonderful job, not allowing any goal in through to the end of the match — something which showed how hard they had worked for this task.

The victory was received with jubilation all across the Apeejay School, Kharghar. The management, the principal, and staff were enthused with immense pride over such achievements by the young athletes.
