I believe every day is Mother’s Day, however, there is a day that is purely dedicated to thanking your mom!
Mother’s Day is celebrated on different dates in different countries, along with different types of traditions. On these dates, people give surprises to their mothers.
Mother’s Day is celebrated in honour of Anna Jarvis, whose mother died, and she explained the importance of mothers. Mothers do a lot of work for their families and prepare their child for school, and maintain the house. People give gifts, cards etc., in some countries, maybe it should be celebrated as a big festival.
We should not be rude to our mother and take care of our mother as she gave birth to us. We should spend a lot of time with our mother, and if we don’t, our mother feels lonely. On Mother’s Day, we should thank our mothers, grandmothers, aunts, and others who take care of us and love us endlessly. Mother’s Day is not just giving gifts to mothers, it makes us reflect on our mothers’ lives as children love their mother so much. Mother is our first teacher as she tells us about how to tie our shoelaces, how to be kind and handle hard situations, and also teaches us life lessons, always be brave, and also be patient. Whenever we are sad, happy, or nervous, our mother is also supportive of us.
Put together a memory book for your mom filled with stories, drawings, and photos that represent your time together. Write down funny memories, moments you’re grateful for, and even quotes you love that remind you of her.
