The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially announced new dates for the remaining Chartered Accountancy (CA) Final and Intermediate level exams. These exams will now be held between May 16 and May 24, 2025, as per the revised schedule released on May 10, 2025.
Over 1.58 lakh students are expected to appear for these crucial exams across India. The updated dates come after ICAI postponed the earlier schedule due to security concerns in the country. Originally, the exams were planned for May 9 to May 14, but were rescheduled to ensure the safety and well-being of students.
The Post Qualification Course exam in International Taxation – Assessment Test (INTT AT) will also be conducted during this same period – from May 16 to May 24.
Foundation exams to continue as planned
ICAI has confirmed that the CA Foundation level exams will be conducted as per the original schedule, from May 15 to May 21, 2025. There are no changes in the exam dates for foundation students.
No changes in centres or admit cards
ICAI also clarified that:
All examination centres and timings will remain the same.
Admit cards already issued will remain valid for the new dates. Students do not need to download new admit cards.
This decision was made following “favourable developments in the country’s security situation,” according to the ICAI’s statement. The institute assured candidates that the revised schedule has been carefully decided to avoid further disruptions.
