Web Designing Challenge entices creative instincts at Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus

The Information Technology Club at Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus, Rama Mandi, Jalandhar, organised the Pixelation: Web Designing Challenge recently. This exciting event aimed to assess the website designing skills of students from various streams, providing a platform for creativity and technical proficiency.

Participants from BTech, BCA, and MCA programmes eagerly embraced the challenge, receiving a problem statement on the spot to design a functional website. The atmosphere was electric as students showcased their skills, crafting impressive websites that demonstrated both innovation and technical expertise.

The competition concluded with notable achievements: Sarbjeet Singh and Dupinder Singh from BTech I semester secured first place, while Charanjot Singh from BTech III semester claimed the second position. The third place was awarded to the dynamic duo of Harman and Anuj from BCA V semester.

The event was coordinated by Mr Rohit Verma, Convenor of the Information Technology Club, alongside Mr Rajiv Kumar, Assistant Professor at the School of Information Technology. Student coordinators, including Ms Meghdeep Kaur (MCA III Sem) and Ms Neha (MCA I Sem), played a crucial role in ensuring the event’s success.

Dr Rajesh Bagga, Director of AIMETC, congratulated the winners and encouraged all students to engage in extracurricular activities that enhance their technical skills and overall development. The event not only highlighted the talent within the institute but also fostered a spirit of collaboration and learning among students.

“Engaging in extracurricular activities is vital for nurturing both technical skills and personal growth. The  Pixelation: Web Designing Challenge has served as a platform to highlight the incredible talent within our institute, while also fostering collaboration and learning among students. It’s an excellent opportunity for students to apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios, enhancing their confidence and preparing them for future challenges,” Dr Bagga said.
