This adroit lawyer is a philanthropist on all even days, without any odds. Meet Satvik Mathur who passed out of Apeejay School, Noida in the year 2014. In a candid interview, Satvik pours out his heart by sharing umpteen anecdotes that made for his wonderful school life.

Tell us about yourself.

I am from the 2014 batch of Apeejay School, Noida. At present, I am a practicing lawyer and registered with the Bar Council of Delhi. I have served as a committee member there in the past. I am working with Proind Business Solutions Pvt Ltd as a Consultant – Legal Head. I’m a gregarious person who is dedicated to the advancement of the nation as a whole.

What does a typical day look like?

Early in the morning, I visit courts to check the cases. When I leave the courtroom, I like to meet and greet with my colleagues at the cafeteria and discuss recent developments or legal case studies. have social engagements in the evenings where I interact with political leaders and representatives of several ministries. My spouse also has a significant impact on my life because she supports me at every milestone I reach. As a result, I spend my entire day at business and in meetings, and in the late evening, I like to relax with my loved ones.

Tell us about your school life.

I learnt a lot and had a great time at school. I still recall my preference to engage in extracurricular activities over listening to lectures in class. Back in those days, the music teacher taught us how to play the relevant instrument and instilled the necessary discipline while I was the Band Leader of the School Band. During that time, we used to appreciate it, and we are currently applying those lessons to our lives. In addition, I served as the Member of the Hospitality Committee in the Prefectural Board from 2012 to 2013.

I was also active in the school’s Interact Club, serving as its Director from 2011 to 2012 and Secretary from 2012 to 2013. I now have a sense of social obligation towards society. I was also a Member of the school’s Code Club, and in 2013 our team organised the first-ever Music Mixing Competition event. Finally, I would like to bow before my teachers and school personnel for helping me through good times and bad, using any means necessary, and for moulding me into the person I am today.

Share a few nostalgic memories from Apeejay.

Since my friends and I were amongst the mischievous group, we were always told by our teachers to work hard in school so that we would have a better future. However, now that we have reached a certain point and are invited as guests for school programs, it makes me very happy and grateful. It is also a nostalgic moment to meet our teachers and be recognised for the hard work that we have been doing.

How were the teachers at Apeejay?

I’m thrilled to be among the luckiest students that were bestowed with an exceptional group of teachers and school personnel who guided and supported me throughout my academic career. Their commitment and altruism have shaped me into the person I am now; I owe everything to them. Every member of the faculty and staff at the school was cooperative and committed to the students’ upbringing. However, these days, it is quite uncommon to find a school where students are also instilled with values and ethics.

What is your dream and goal in life?

Becoming a premier legal service provider in the nation and building an empire of legal services are my ultimate career aspirations. My goal is also to assist the underprivileged members of society and contribute to their advancement by engaging in a variety of general and legal initiatives on their behalf.

Any message for the students of the school.

I would like to let the students know that it is really important to show respect to the teachers and the staff at school because it is their beliefs and ethics that the pupils are actually absorbing. Once you leave school and enter the workforce, you will be able to comprehend the fundamental values and ethics that they have instilled in you. I am appreciative of my teachers and the school administration for instilling in me the values and ethics that enable me to function in society at large.

How did Apeejay help you hone your skills?

The faculty and personnel at Apeejay School, Noida assisted in moulding my destiny by instilling moral principles and values. These attributes are extremely uncommon in schools nowadays, though, as education has turned into a for-profit industry. Parents and students are less concerned with morals and ethics and more drawn to an opulent lifestyle, failing to realise that without a solid foundation, no luxury can be afforded in the future.
