Apeejay School of Management, Dwarka holds a guest lecture on the art of writing a literary review
The modern workplace requires one to possess many key skills. One such key skill is review writing. A good review is a treasure indeed. Making its mark in the minds of the reader with its detailed coverage along with precision and brevity, it is a key ability every management student is expected to have. Apeejay School of Management (ASM), Dwarka is aware of the changing requirements of the industry and so, to empower MBA students with this skill, the B-school recently organised a guest lecture for the same.
Dr. Mohini Gurav, an Associate Professor at Sandip University, Nashik, Maharashtra, was the key speaker for this guest lecture. Dr. Mohini Gurav possesses a strong knowledge on this subject.
Organised by Dr. Anuj Kumar, Assistant Porfessor at ASM, the guest lecture was attended by PGDM-I-year students, which aimed at highlighting the importance of a good literature review and what tools could be used for obtaining the same. Dr Gurav discussed emerging topics for conducting literature and communicated about various free tools that could be used for downloading research papers.
Speaking about the lecture Dr. Mohini Gurav mentioned, “I am thankful to Prof. Anuj Kumar and ASM Dwarka for inviting me for this task. It was exciting to see and hear the young researchers from the college. I enjoyed the session and I hope that my lecture helped all students on how to go about writing a good literary review.”
Further, Prof. Anuj Kumar felicitated Dr Gurav with a plant and also presented her with a token of appreciation.

In the end, expressing her views on the lecture Paral Aggarwal, a PGDM student said, “The guest lecture on research methods was very useful. It had clarity and covered diverse methodologies, engaged with interactive elements, integrated relevant literature, provided practical examples, simplified complex concepts using visual aids and encouraged us students immensely.”
Another student Khushi expressed, “Today’s session was exciting and knowledgeable. The insights which I got in the session were very helpful and the experiences shared by Dr. Mohini Gaurav were very motivating. It will help every student to write a research paper in a better way.”
