Apeejay School, Tanda Road celebrates Annual Appreciation Day in great style

Apeejay School, Tanda Road, Jalandhar recently hosted its Annual Appreciation Day with great enthusiasm and joy under the auspices of Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Education and Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University.

The theme for this year’s mega event was Abhijit- Conquer the Happiness, symbolising the triumph of joy and positivity. The occasion was graced by the esteemed presence of Dr. Anubhav Gupta, MBBS, MD, Kamal Hospital, Tanda Road, Jalandhar, who is also an accomplished alumnus of the school.

Drawing from his experiences as an alumnus, Dr. Anubhav Gupta shared a few pearls of wisdom with the students and spoke eloquently about the school’s founder and chairperson. He further encouraged the students to follow the path of truth, honesty, dedication, hard work and intelligence in living their lives and chasing their passion. 

Dr. Anubhav Gupta  further mentioned , “Parents, you must be friendly with your children as this will give them the confidence to approach you in case of any problem. Also, you as parents must obey the traffic rules as children learn from you first hand. I extend my best wishes to all the parents and students and congratulate the school again on doing so well.”

After the traditional lighting of the lamp along with the rendition of the school song and a beautiful invocation- ‘Adiyogi ki Panchkaritya’, the event featured an array of stellar performances showcasing the diverse talents of the students.

The pre-primary segment delighted the audience with a charming skit on the theme of aliens, complemented by captivating dance performances from nursery and kindergarten classes. It was truly a unique dance as even the extra-terrestrial beings were aware of the progress and shine of Apeejayites. 

Several other captivating performances added to the vibrancy of the celebration, including Flamenco Puro, a play depicting Chanakya’s vision of ‘Akhand Bharat’, an enthralling dance performance Ananth Lavanya, followed by a mesmerising Arabic dance performance titled Almeh.

 Adding five stars to the cultural performance, a high energy Bhangra performance, Saada Virsa Vihar, left the audience in awe and brought a cheer to everyone’s faces.

The annual prize distribution ceremony was the highlight of the event, where the chief guest, along with the school Principal, Ms. Sangeeta Nistandra, accompanied with school coordinator, Ms. Deepti Kaushal, distributed awards and accolades to the meritorious students and encouraged all to strive for excellence.

Ms. Sangeeta Nistandra expressed her gratitude and delivered a vote of thanks, acknowledging the collective efforts of the school community in making the event a resounding success. In her address, she also explained, “The school is constantly committed to providing technological education and support for the holistic development of all students. It is important to provide ethical and value-based education to the students and that is the school’s first priority.”

All in all, the annual appreciation day at Apeejay School, Tanda Road, Jalandhar, not only celebrated the achievements of the students but also served as a platform to foster a sense of unity, pride, and belonging within the school community. The day was a festival celebrating the immense potential of students and the teachers who relentlessly try to empower each child.
