Apeejay School, Model Town recently hosted the much-anticipated International Hindi Olympiad, a grand celebration of the richness and significance of the Hindi language. The event aimed to nurture students’ love for Hindi while encouraging their proficiency in the language, making it a memorable platform for cultural and linguistic pride.
The Olympiad brought together young and talented students from various grades, showcasing their linguistic skills, creativity, and deep understanding of Hindi. Participants competed enthusiastically, demonstrating their dedication and passion for the language through a challenging and engaging test. Their efforts were met with well-deserved recognition as several students emerged victorious, earning accolades for their exceptional performance.
Among the winners, Dishita Shahi of Grade 3 and Aardhya Chopra of Grade 7 proudly clinched the prestigious Gold Medals. The Silver Medals were awarded to Shaurya Seth and Ayaan Monga, both from Grade 1, while Atharv Mahendru, also from Grade 1, secured the Bronze Medal. These medalists stood as shining examples of linguistic excellence and cultural pride. All participants received appreciation certificates, honoring their commitment and enthusiasm.

The event’s highlight was an inspiring address by the revered Officiating Principal, Ms. Priyanka Grover. She emphasised the importance of the Hindi language in uniting people and preserving India’s rich cultural heritage. Ms. Grover lauded the participants for their outstanding efforts and commended the school’s initiatives in promoting Hindi on a global platform.
