Young talents unite to showcase their diverse skills 

The fifth season of the Inter-school talent hunt, “Skills n Thrills,” hosted by Apeejay School, Tanda Road in Jalandhar, unfolded as a grand success. The event gathered students from several playway schools in Jalandhar, uniting them in a spirited showcase of their diverse talents.

The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Mr. Balwinder Singh Vicky, fondly known as Chacha Rounki Ram. His participation added prestige to the occasion, and he shared words of encouragement and motivation with the young talents, leaving a lasting impact on their budding aspirations.

The Directors and Principals of all the participating schools also honoured the occasion with their esteemed presence. Their attendance emphasised the significance of this talent hunt in the region’s educational landscape and showcased the unity of purpose in nurturing and celebrating young talents.

The competition featured an array of categories, including singing, dancing, acting, colouring, and more, providing a platform for young talents to shine. Participants were categorised into three distinct groups, each representing a different level of skill and potential. In the “Glowing Pearls” category, the youngest talents charmed the audience with their budding skills and infectious enthusiasm. The “Shimmering Diamonds” category featured students in the middle age group, offering a promising glimpse of their evolving talents and future potential. Finally, the “Sparkling Sapphires,” comprising the eldest participants, left the audience in awe with their remarkable creativity and high-level skills, highlighting the depth of talent present at the event.

In addition to the main talent competitions, a “Colour ‘O’ Fun” competition for drawing and colouring was organised, which welcomed participation from all the above categories.

The blooming talents exhibited their skills with exuberance and enthusiasm, capturing the hearts of the audience. Their performances were not only delightful but also highly appreciated by the spectators, which included proud parents, supportive teachers, and well-wishers.

Ms. Deepti Kaushal, the coordinator of Apeejay School, Tanda Road, expressed her heartfelt gratitude towards Ms. Sangeeta Nistandra, Principal of Apeejay School, Tanda Road; Mr. Balwinder Singh Vicky, and all the other dignitaries who graced the event with their presence. She thanked them for sparing their valuable time to witness the incredible talents of the young participants and for their encouragement and support.
