The grand inaugural ceremony of the prestigious Apeejay School Model United Nations (ASMUN) 2025, held at Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg, Jalandhar, began on an exhilarating note as students from Apeejay School, Rama Mandi, lit up the stage with a vibrant and high-energy Bhangra performance. The two-day event, known for its intellectually stimulating sessions of diplomacy, global dialogue, and cultural celebration, was perfectly set in motion by this spectacular showcase of tradition and talent.
Adding a vivid splash of colours, rhythm, and infectious energy, the Bhangra troupe from Rama Mandi captivated the audience with their spirited performance. Dressed in traditional Punjabi attire, the students brought to life the joyous essence of Punjab through their powerful moves and synchronised choreography. Their enthusiasm was matched only by the electrifying beats of the dhol, creating an atmosphere of celebration and unity that resonated with the diverse audience present.
The performance did more than entertain—it proudly highlighted the rich cultural heritage of Punjab, seamlessly integrating tradition into a modern, international academic event.
