Recently, Apeejay School, Noida, organised an inspiring Inter-class Declamation Competition for Class VII students, reaffirming its commitment to fostering articulate expression and confident communication among young learners. The event, held in the school Auditorium, brought together enthusiastic participants who showcased remarkable clarity of thought and persuasive delivery.
The theme for the competition, Relevance of Swami Vivekananda’s Teachings for Today’s Youth, encouraged students to reflect on the timeless wisdom of the spiritual leader and its significance in contemporary times. Participants eloquently explored ideas of self-belief, discipline, service, and moral strength, presenting their interpretations with conviction and originality. Their speeches highlighted how Vivekananda’s teachings continue to inspire today’s generation to pursue excellence while staying rooted in values.


The event was graced by the school Vice-principal, Ms Puneeta Bhasin, whose presence motivated the young speakers. A distinguished panel of judges comprising Mr Jatin Hasija, Academic Coordinator, and Ms Rashi Rawal evaluated the performances based on content, expression, delivery, and overall impact. The judges praised the participants for their thoughtful articulation and provided insightful feedback to help them refine their oratory skills further.
After a series of compelling presentations, the results were announced by Ms Bhasin. Vanshdeep (VII-B) secured the first position for his powerful articulation and commanding stage presence. Aishi Dutta Choudhary (VII-F) claimed the second position, while Raghvi (VII-A) earned the third position for her impressive delivery and engaging interpretation.






The competition concluded on an encouraging note, celebrating the spirit of eloquence and intellectual curiosity. By engaging students in meaningful discourse, the event successfully reinforced the importance of public speaking as a vital life skill and strengthened the cultural and ethical awareness of the young learners.
