Young minds paint a cleaner tomorrow via art 

Apeejay School, Rama Mandi, partners with 94.3 MY FM to spread the message of cleanliness through ‘Rangrez’

Recently, Apeejay School, Rama Mandi, Jalandhar, hosted a vibrant painting competition titled Rangrez, organised by 94.3 MY FM (Dainik Bhaskar Group), with the inspiring theme Clean Jalandhar – Clean India. The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of Classes VI to IX, providing them a creative platform to express their thoughts on cleanliness, civic responsibility, and environmental awareness through art.  

The event commenced with a detailed briefing by the school’s Art Teacher, Mr Amit Kumar, who explained the rules, guidelines, and significance of the theme to the participants. He encouraged students to reflect on their surroundings and translate their ideas into meaningful artistic expressions. His guidance helped students understand how art can serve as a powerful medium to spread social messages.

The school’s Principal, Mr AK Sharma, along with Vice-principal Mrs Loveleen Bagga, motivated the students and appreciated the initiative taken by 94.3 MY FM. They highlighted the importance of such creative activities in nurturing imagination, encouraging innovative thinking, and instilling social values among students. They further stated that participation in such competitions helps students develop confidence, awareness, and a sense of responsibility towards society. 

The young artists participated with immense excitement and zeal, filling their canvases with vibrant colours, thoughtful imagery, and impactful messages related to cleanliness and hygiene. Each artwork reflected the students’ unique perspectives and deep understanding of the theme. The atmosphere was filled with creativity, focus, and positive energy as students immersed themselves in their artistic pursuits.

Adding to the significance of the event, the team from 94.3 MY FM (Dainik Bhaskar Group) conducted videography during the competition, capturing candid moments of students at work. The team appreciated the creativity and talent displayed by the participants and applauded their efforts in promoting the message of a clean and responsible society. 

The competition concluded on an inspiring note, leaving students enriched with learning, motivation, and a deeper appreciation for art as a tool for social change.
