The students of Apeejay School International (ASI), Panchsheel Park brought accolades to the school as the robotics team secured second place at the Festival of Hopes. The performance of Neal Verma, Himav Berlia, and Vivan Verma brought immense pride to the school and community as they displayed superb technical excellence and innovation.
This young team embraced the challenge with remarkable creativity and problem-solving abilities. This challenge involved designing a strange, odd robot that was supposed to collect trash and sort it into zones. It targeted the areas of sustainability and enhancements in environmental well-being.
The work of the robot not only proved to be a landmark of engineering but also depicted how a deep and true understanding of the critical issues of today is, especially when it comes to waste management and environmental conservation. An important subject such as this, which was addressed by students of ASI, presented the true definition of responsible innovation and the power of technology towards real-life problems.
Creativity and Technical Skills Laudable by Judges
The ASI team received congratulations for designing its robot in an integrated and efficient way. The team was commended for systematic work and smooth sequential programming that ensured the robot worked perfectly. Their design was more than just aesthetic in appeal but showed deep knowledge in the work of robotics engineering.
The work managed to capture both aesthetics and technical know-how in coming up with an effective project – the robot created by the team proved to be a harmonious combination of beauty and functionality.
ASI has always encouraged students to reach beyond any confines of learning and creativity. The success of the team will be inspirational for other students to explore new possibilities in technology and robotics.

An achievement worth celebrating
This achievement of the students proved that hard work and dedication, who spent several hours perfecting their robot, paid off. ASI with its IB curriculum has always been a hub of innovation, encouraging students to push the boundaries of learning and creativity.
This position at this event is not just a recognition of technical skills but also a celebration of teamwork, perseverance, and a shared passion for innovation. The entire Apeejay community is proud of this performance by the robotics team and eagerly awaits more such stellar performances in the future.
This victory sets a very high benchmark for all the students, encouraging a wave of enthusiasm and interest in robotics and technology within the school.
