It was a proud moment for Apeejay School, Tanda Road, as it celebrated its young students’ remarkable success at the National Level Art Competition held during the Rangotsav in Mumbai. Children from nursery to Class VIII took part in the event and returned with a medal tally that showed both talent and hard work. The experience also exposed them to a larger creative community, giving them a sense of how far their skills can grow when they learn beyond the classroom.

The competition brought many art forms to one platform. Students explored colouring, handwriting, collage work, cartooning, greeting card making, finger and thumb painting, and caricature. Each entry reflected steady practice and an eye for detail. Teachers shared that the children enjoyed the freedom to experiment and express their ideas. What this really means is that the school’s art culture encourages students to try, refine, and grow.

Outstanding medal tally

The results stood out. The students won 25 Gold, 15 Silver, and 10 Bronze medals. This performance placed the school among the top achievers at the event. The range of awards also showed that participation came from many classes and skill levels. It was not just a handful of students. It was a wide group of young artists who took the stage with confidence.

The school community has been celebrating this achievement. Teachers felt proud to see their students earn recognition on a national platform. Parents shared similar joy as they saw their children come back with medals and renewed confidence. The event has encouraged more students to pursue art with curiosity and discipline.

This milestone suggests that consistent effort, guided practice, and a supportive environment help children discover what they are capable of. The school hopes to continue building this spirit in the months ahead.
