Tell us about your family.
My mother’s name is Pradeepika, and my father’s name is Vishal Kapoor. I study in the UKG at Apeejay School. I love dancing, singing, making reels, and acting.
What religious texts do you recite?
I love to recite the Hanuman Chalisa, Gita Saar, Ganesh Stuti, The Ramayan, and various shlokas from other religious scriptures.
How did you develop an interest in spiritual activities?
When I was very young, I loved to talk to God, say Jai Jai to Him, and sing bhajans. My mother has been a great influence as she taught me all the bhajans and other shlokas.

What recognition have you received for your talents?
I was awarded the IPBR prize because I recited the Hanuman Chalisa, Gita Saar, The Ramayan, and shlokas and submitted the same online. My recitation greatly impressed the judge and I was given the award.
Who assists you in learning new religious texts and practices?
My parents help me to learn every new aspect of our religious traditions. I perform paath every night.
How do your teachers and school support your talents?
My teachers are very supportive; they encourage me and help me if I forget something while I am on stage. They motivate me to participate in all school functions. If there is a competition outside of the school premises, they encourage me to participate. The school coordinator also gives me chocolate when I recite something without needing any help.
How do you feel when you engage in religious recitations?
When I pray and or recite bhajans, I feel as if I am directly talking to God.
How do you manage your studies and your passion?
My mother is always there to help me. After school, I complete my homework only then do I go out to play. I love to sing and play in the evening.
